The border crossing took a little longer than expected. The crew on the Dhow was extremely friendly and eager to assist in making the trip fun and enjoyable. We were driven out of Dubai and then transferred to a bus. We arrived in Oman after about 2 hours on the road. They took us out on a speed boat after we had anchored the boat. The views were breathtaking. We came to a halt to prepare for the banana ride. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. It is something I would recommend to others.

We began our day with a 7 a.m. pick-up (we were staying at the palm), arrived at the boat around 10:30, and the rest of the day was pure relaxation and fun. It takes 2 to 2.5 hours to get from Dubai to the Omani mountains. A two-hour boat ride. We saw a lot, from crossing the land border between the UAE and Oman to seeing the caves, coves, and landscape of beautiful Oman, swimming in sandy beaches, diving off the Dhow, and driving through six Emirates. I had a great time and will return with my friends in the future.
