We were pick up by a good driver Mufeer. Nice and comfortable coach. The team was lead by Abdulla who was quite entertaining and informative. We had few stops and did walk quite a lot. Short stops at Ferrari World and the Louvre Museum for photo ops. I suggest book a ticket to enter louvre if you into artifacts. Outside was lovely tho. The beauty of the location makes it appear surreal; you must see and feel it! Definitely one of my new favorite Abu Dhabi experiences. One of the most tranquil places to visit in a lifetime. This is the only mosque that welcomes non-Muslims. The area is crowded, but it is well-managed, allowing visitors to have a good time. It’s truly a work of art and should be seen at sunset or at night.

I went on a city tour and we stopped by the Shiek Zayed Grand Mosque. It’s quite impressive. Lovely white marble. You must enter from a long distance away from the parking lot. Visitors from all over the world can walk across the world’s largest hand-woven rug, gaze up at one of the world’s largest chandeliers, and marvel at the fusion of Fatimid and Islamic art.

The building is covered in marble, has the world’s largest single carpet, and chandeliers weighing 12.5 tonnes. It’s well worth walking around again, and if photography is your hobby, you’re in for a real treat, as I’ve attempted to demonstrate with the attached photos. A very peaceful place with a theme of community. A time for everyone to pause and reflect on the simple majesty of a magnificent structure.

We went with some friends, and I was surprised at how different it was from the last time I was there. They build many shops and coffee shops underground, as well as a museum. It is a cultural site constructed in the traditional style and covered in marble. This monument’s new extension, the mall, is another draw.

This location is absolutely stunning! We had to queue for about an hour and do a lot of traveling to get into the mosque. The lights and decorations inside are all in Arabic design. Remember to refrain from speaking inside the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.

This is the place I don’t want to skip the most before traveling to the UAE. Because of the plane delay, we arrived at twilight, and the scenery was lovely with the sunset. A fusion of Islamic and global cultures. This is legendary. It felt like mental calm. The architecture is absolutely stunning. The surrounding fountains and lake are absolutely beautiful.

This is an absolute must-see in Abu Dhabi. What an incredible building. We went in January (winter), when it wasn’t too crowded, and in the late afternoon to see the sunset. Beautiful sunset over the Mosque. Nothing less than spectacular! What a structure. We liked how, no matter how touristy it appeared to be, they maintained the solemnity of the place in all its splendor and grandeur.
